“I see myself in you” - Poem By Reiham Amin

In this poem, Reiham will be explaining the ‘identity crisis’ she went through growing up and the journey she embarked to reach self love of where she came from and who she is. She will explore the different factors that make her personality and herself, and how her surroundings/ethnic background and mother tongue come in to play when trying to figure out who she is.

Reiham Amin is a Spoken-Word Poet, Writer and travel enthusiast. She began writing poetry at the age of 14 after she experienced her first 'heartbreak'. Since then, she has gone on to winning her first poetry competition at 15 years old, perform at the United Nations: 'Girl Up' campaign, and represent the University of Leeds in the UniSlam finals 2021.
