UK Policy & Regulation in the approach to the 4th industrial revolution

The Government is encouraging the development and uptake of emerging technology, but also must prepare our economy and citizens for it. Such emerging technology carries both dangers and opportunities in terms of Cyber Security and a careful balance between innovation and security must be reached.

The emergence and uptake of robotic process automation, AI and IOT carry both risks and opportunities, on par with previous industrial revolutions – this is the cognitive revolution. In it, the UK looks to become a worldwide hub for ‘ethical AI’.
