LEAP Level Three scheme

Level Three LEAP is a bit different, you get to curate your own programme, depending on your own interests and ambitions. Pebblepad will be used to help you note your reflections throughout the year.

At the beginning of term all LEAP finalists will answer some short questions in PebblePad about how you are feeling as you are about to start your final, and possibly most important, year.
You should session where you will carry out a skills audit, and reflect on the values that are important to you. As a result of this session, you will then choose a careers workshop of your choice which addresses any issues that you may have previously identified.

You will also attend (at least) one academic research seminar - you can choose the topic! This will give them an insight in to the incredible depth and breadth of research being carried out at the University of Leeds and beyond. Research seminars will be posted on the channel in Teams.

Want to pursue postgraduate study? You will attend a coaching session with a PhD student, who can offer advice and guidance about what it actually involves if you want to continue their studies.
Rather leave academia? You will attend a one-to-one session with a careers consultant.

At the end of the year you will write a short reflection or make a short film about your experience of taking part in LEAP.
