Second Wave Feminism- particular focus on Northern women's liberation movements

My contribution will stem from the Special Collections' vast Feminist North Archive.
The sheer amount of archival information is greatly revealing and my special focus on
feminist prose (by the likes of Adrienne Rich) will add some depth to my research.
Within my work I will endeavour to explore the intricacies of Second Wave Feminism in the North, using case studies of specific women to dig deeper to the purpose, objectives and landmark victories of these movements. This project is currently a work in progress and I
hope that by looking deeper at archival material my focus will become more specific.
